Some links to certification training providers on JobHero are affiliate links. If you click one and buy a course, the provider may pay us a commission. The price you pay is exactly the same either way.
No job listing on this site is an affiliate link, and no employer can pay to rank higher in our search results.
An affiliate link is an ordinary link with a tracking code attached. If you follow it and later buy something, the seller knows the visit came from JobHero and pays us a share of the sale. It is a referral fee, paid by the seller — not a charge added to you.
Only in the certification and training sections:
Links to the certifying body itself — ISC2, ISACA, CompTIA, OffSec, IAPP, the Cloud Security Alliance — are never affiliate links. Those go straight to the official page so you can read the real requirements from the source.
This is worth stating plainly, because many job sites do the opposite.
JobHero listings come from third-party job feeds. The Apply button sends you to the link the feed gave us, unmodified — the employer’s own careers page or the board that published it. We do not wrap it, tag it, or take a fee when you apply. We are not paid per application, per click, or per hire on any listing.
Which jobs you see, and the order you see them in, is decided by your search, your filters and how recent the posting is. Nothing else.
Where a link on a page is an affiliate link, that page carries a visible “Affiliate” label next to the links themselves and a short note beneath them. We do not hide the disclosure in a footer or behind a menu.
Affiliate links also carry the rel="sponsored" attribute, which tells search
engines the link is paid.
This follows the Advertising Standards Council of India’s Guidelines for Influencer Advertising in Digital Media, which require disclosure to be upfront, prominent and hard to miss.
Nothing. Affiliate commissions are paid by the training provider out of a sale that would have happened anyway. You will never pay more for using our link, and you are under no obligation to use one — every provider we mention can be reached directly.
A certification is listed on a job page because the job asks for it, not because a provider pays us. We will not add a certification to a listing that does not mention it, and we will not reorder or drop one based on what it earns.
If we ever cannot honour that on a particular page, the honest move is to carry no affiliate link on that page at all — and that is what we will do.
